AIR CONDITIONING FAQS

Annually. A service technician will check pressures to test operation, refrigerant charge, and outlet temperatures. If the system is low on refrigerant, a leak test is performed to find the source of the leak. Sometimes, refrigerant may need to be added to top off the system. A technician may also check for evidence of cross-contamination. The inspection will also include a check of the compressor’s drive belt and tension.

Typically, these smells are from bacteria buildup in the evaporator. We have all the tools needed to clean this up and have your car smelling fresh again.

Maybe! Your refrigerant could be low, either because you just need it refilled or there’s a leak in the A/C system. Bring it in and we can let you know.

It may simply be engine noise you’re hearing, but it can also be a problem with your compressor. This is the heart of the system, have it checked if you hear anything unusual.
